What kind of tv should I buy?

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) are Liquid Crystals that are put tightly between two transparent layers. The Crystals allow light from a light source in the tv 

PLASMA-Contains Neon -Xenon gases sealed in plasma form. The Screen consists of individual pixel cells, which produce light when electronic pulses excite the gases.

LED-(Light Emitting Diode)-Uses LED Lights rather than CCFL used in LCD Models. LED Lighting can produce an image with greater dynamic contrast

LCD-LED 

Better in brighter rooms, Lighter and use less electricity

Better White and Black Levels. Great for Low Light Applications
